Who is Northlight Communications?
Northlight Communications is an independent communications consultancy led by CIPR Chartered PR Practitioner Leonie Roberts.
I provide ethical communications, PR, reputation, and storytelling support to build trust, reputation, and clarity for community-focused organisations.
Your privacy: What data I collect
When you sign up to my mailing list, I collect:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your organisation name (if provided)
- Your consent to receive email communications
How I use your data
Your privacy: I will only use your details to send occasional updates about:
- Northlight Communications services and opportunities
- Communications and PR insights or resources
- Occasional news or events related to my work or the soial enterprise sector
I will never sell, rent or share your personal data with any third parties.
Lawful basis for processing
Your data is processed on the basis of consent under Article 6(1)(a) of the UK GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time by clicking “unsubscribe” in any email or by contacting me directly.
How your data is stored
Your information is securely stored using Google Workspace and/or my email marketing provider. Access is restricted to authorised personnel only.
How long I keep your data
I will retain your contact details for as long as you wish to receive updates. If you unsubscribe, your data will be deleted from the Northlight Communication mailing list within 30 days.
Your privacy policy data rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data I hold about you
- Request correction or deletion of your data
- Withdraw consent at any time
- Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) if you believe your data has been mishandled
