Northlight Communications has won a national PR award!
In November, Northlight Communications won the CIPR Cymru Gold award for a 2024 campaign dealing with men’s mental health and suicide prevention in the Health and Wellbeing category.

I had a lovely evening at the CIPR Cymru award presentation event at the Marriott Hotel in Cardiff.
I created the campaign to tell the story of Caldicot man Dan Simms, who walked from Caldicot Castle in Monmouthshire to Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam in memory of two friends who had taken their own lives.

Of course winning awards isn’t the goal, but I’m incredibly honoured that my pro bono, zero budget campaign was recognised.
Authentic storytelling and powerful, ethical, sensitive PR can make a real difference to businesses and causes alike.
PR can change beliefs, behaviour, and lives – as well as building trust, boosting reputation, and impacting the bottom line.
That’s why I love it so much. PR can be a powerful force for good.
Media outlets including Businessin Wales covered the story about my award win.
